Davi Lima started his dance career in Recife, Brazil in 1997 when he was 15. He moved to London in 2010 and met Sarah in 2011. They started working together and he is now one of the principle teachers, dancers and choreographers in Rio Zouk Fusion dance company.
He began dancing the popular Brazilian rhythms of frevo, maracatu, danca do coco and siranda
In 1998 he danced for the carnival in Pernambuco, dancing for the company of Alexandre Spain, as part part of the 'bloco Canarvalesco club of Pas', presenting their 'bloco' in the streets, on television, in the theater and in interviews.
In 1999 he started his career as a 'bolsista' - a scholarship student, in the company of Claudio Sobral e Fabiola Monterazo, where he learned samba, forro, boleiro, tango, salsa and swing. Between 2000 and 2001 he partook in various presentation for the this company.
In 2001 he started to dance with Claudio Barbosa e Sandra Araujo. In 2001, with their show 'Samba de Malandro', Davi and his partner were chosen as one of the ten best couples of dancers in the state and were part of a circuit of dance in the state and in one of the two most famous events of the state alongside many of the best dancers in Brazil.
He started his solo career in 2003 and worked until 2007 giving classes in the dance academies of Vereda Trainer, Stylos, Jandira Airan and meanwhile doing courses in theater and with famous dance artists such as Jaime Aroxa. After this he continued to work in dance creating his own unique style. He came to London in 2010 to further his dance career and started to focus more on Brazilian zouk. Since living in London he has worked and danced with many well known dancers and choreographers and has performed in theater, castles, clubs and on television in the UK.
